"FAITH & LIGHT"
Chisom means 'God is with me' in the igbo language. Faith is my middle name. However, I've been told many times by my mother that I need to actually live up more to that name... So this, here, is exactly what I am doing! I'm having more faith in myself to commit to what I love to do — capturing the beauty & wonder in you as God's creation, using natural light photography to help share the stories that make you unique!
A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS
My favorites include getting pretty floral bouquets for the home, eating all-you-can-eat sushi, connecting with my house church, and watching a good season of 'Love-is-Blind' or a true crime documentary! I feel the most joy when dancing to MJ songs with my kids, taking long "nature" walks in The Woodlands, and having devotion time paired with a creamy latte + some jazzy & bumpin' LoFi songs.
THE ORIGIN STORY
I first picked up a camera for the purpose of digital marketing for ministry a month before the pandemic. Well, that was a flop! To maintain my sanity during that difficult period, I started exploring the outside world through the lens, which led to the birth of this hobby for me! After many fast and hard life changes, I kept my camera on the shelf to later be dusted off in 2025, this time with much more intention.
After experiencing a pregnancy loss with our third, I felt a tug to get back behind the camera, this time with a focus on capturing and celebrating the miracle of life and women's journey to motherhood (which is such a HUGE thing, regardless of the way we get there)! As a mom, I also see just how quickly the many milestones pass us by. That’s why I love to help families freeze those memories in time through lifestyle & portrait photography.
